Enrique joined Biblica in 1999 and over the past 24 years he has worked closely with churches and ministries in Latin America, Brazil, and the Caribbean to distribute the Bible, implement programs and missionary projects in at risk communities and successfully train pastors and leaders. Prior to joining Biblica, Enrique started his career in 1990 with the United Bible Society in Ecuador, where he helped in the distribution of the Bible across Ecuador as the Director of distribution.
Enrique is an ordained minister and alongside his wonderful wife Elena, they led as pastors in Quito for 10 years. Enrique earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Advertising from the Universidad Tecnológica Equinoccial in Quito, Ecuador and has a Master’s in Theology from Logos University. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate degree in Theology at Logos University.
Dr. Samuel Pagán, of Puerto Rican origin, is an ordained minister of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), dean of Hispanic programs at the Center for Biblical Studies in Jerusalem (CEBJ), and translation consultant for Biblica – Bible Society International. His academic work has been extensive, and has allowed him to edit several Study Bibles, and write over 80 books and hundreds of articles, on exegetical, theological, and pastoral topics.
His administrative work has allowed him to serve the United Bible Societies as director of translations for the Americas, Samuel promotes, organizes, and leads study trips to the Holy Land, Europe, and the Mediterranean Sea. As chairman of the NIV translation committee for Biblica-the International Bible Society, he revised the new text of the New International Version of the Holy Scriptures. And currently, he lives alternately in Clermont, Florida, and Jerusalem, Israel, with his wife, Dr. Nohemi Pagán, with whom he has two sons, Samuel and Luis Daniel.
